CASFUMAL 2011

Went to CASFUMAL (Career Summit For Future Malaysian Leaders) 2011

during last weekend at Pan Pacific KLIA Hotel

For me at first I was just intentionally to accompany PY but who knows at the end I enjoyed myself a lot throughout these 2 days.

What I regretted was... I forgot to take as many photos as I can! Grrr.. >.<

First day : 23rd July 2011

Departed from UTP around 7am

The bus was late for almost 1.5 hours and I was totally a walking zombie

managed to slept for only 2 hours for the preparations to go there

I was informed at the very last minute about my confirmation of joining that event.

Was assigned to sit on different bus with them so I was just slept along the way

That 5 stars hotel is really elegant and I can see KLIA very near to the hotel

After dropped my luggage then heading to breakfast

attended many talks for the following day

most of them was about the oil and gas field related careers

but somehow I managed to meet all the CEOs from giant companies like Shell, Motorola Solutions, Tune Talks, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes and they did really inspire me with their stories.

What we did in the hall was busy writing essays to get the FREE 2GB pendrives!

Haha...I managed to get 2 because I was too lazy to think again.

2 is more than enough dy la

I am not a greedy person.

Actually not only UTP-ians involved but other universities also participated in it

Met quite lots of people actually

but somehow u can really sense some people who are over confident

I said this not because I am not good in socialize but that is what I feel about some of them

=X

No further comments la.

The main highlight was the talk given by Hannah Tan

so many guys are crazy after her..

LOL~

I wish I can be like her

have the strong "WHY" in herself.

=)

But I dont think I can be like her who only slept for 3 hours per days

>.<

I will do it in my own ways.

After the dinner talk we went to SPA CLUB!

But too bad the spa and jacuzzi was closed

so me and py went to steam sauna room

exactly like what you see in the tv for those rich guys used to do

talking to each other while enjoying the hotness and the feeling of keep on sweating inside

went for a very short gym session after that but because the attire that I wore during that time didnt allow me to do exercise

so we decided to wake up early in the next morning to exercise

Second day: 24th July 2011

At the end, the plan failed

because the bed was too cozy and I really feel reluctant to wake up so early.

Opps forgot to say that I was staying in the same room with another 2 girls

One of them from UTP, senior of mine and another was from UMS.

The feeling of waking up and saw the MAS airplane far over from the eye-view was really fantastic!

Second day was basically about sharing sessions

Attended the United Nation Mock Meeting before farewell

during that time you can really see how they deliver their speeches and debate like they are the real representatives from different countries.

CASFUMAL is nothing but eat, drink , listening to talks, mingle around, enjoying the facilities at 5 stars hotel, enjoying fast free wifi and etc

but I never attended such talks that wont make me even feel sleepy

=P

Looking forward to join in again next year!

Once reach UTP then only I start to worry about the CPDC assignment that need to submit on today (Monday)

But luckily our lecturer postponed it to next week!

Phew~~

After listened to so much inspiring talks

I choose to action rather than talk.

Up coming next things to be done:

ETP evaluation of fabrication!

Just bear with two more week and I am almost done with ETP!

What left is just final report

and if we are lucky enough to enter SEDEX

Sure we will try our best

:)

It's week 10 dy

Test 2 is coming very very soon

Just went and took exam slip this afternoon.

Have the feeling to end this semester as soon as possible.

But just do it, not try it.

Let's utilize what I had learnt

either into my academic

or my LIFE

:)
